I'm really not here. I am camping with the boys. This is set up to post on Saturday, so I hope it works.

SC278 & CC268
This is for yesterday's sketch challenge and Tuesday's color challenge. I still couldn't create a card with daisies for Roseanne, so I guess these flowers will have to do. I colored and sponged the flower from Elements of Style to create my "DP" on the squares.
Thanks for stopping by!!

FS167 ~ Dara
Today's Featured Stamper on SCS is Dara. I chose to CASE the card that you can see here. I changed several things, but the gitz is the same. I masked off the bottom and the sun, sponged the colors, and then stamped the image and the sentiment. I added the brads, but I didn't add anything else 'cuz I wanted to keep it a CAS card.

SSC133
Here is a "Normal" Sympathy card. I used traditional colors on this one (unlike yesterday). This card is for the Sketch challenge on the Stamping 411 site.
I have seen so many ladies create cards with this brayered skyline technique, so I thought that I would try it for a sympathy card. I brayered (is that a word?) the bottom of the image with Bashful Blue, and the top with Not Quite Navy. Then I stamped the reeds with Basic Black, and colored in the cattails with a black marker. The blue on the sentiment is brayered with bashful blue.
Thanks for stopping by today!!

CC253
I made 8 Sympathy cards (remember these) in November, and would you believe all of them are gone. So I created a few new ones. I know these are not traditional colors for a sympathy card, but my husbands mother and her sisters are CRAZY about purple. So I need purple cards in my stash. I will show you a normal one that I created tomorrow.

Sympathy Card
Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card. This is a case of a card that I created earlier, which you can see here. I really love this sketch. This time I used the To the Nines DP -- it adds the perfect about of texture. You could use this card for any occasion, not just sympathy. The only embellishment I used was the white brads, but this card has lots of layers.

SC236 -- again
This is another card that I had created from the SC236 sketch challenge. When each challenge comes out I look at the inspiration card, then I create my card, and then I go back and look at the gallery. I never look at the gallery first, 'cuz I think that it will influence my creation. Well after I created the card for Brandon's birthday, I went an browsed the gallery. I found this card, and fell in love. So I created one of my own, but I used the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set instead.
