TECC52AW -- Again

Here is my second card for Ana's Sketch for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. I know I am a glutton for punishment. I was looking at all the cards that I created for this challenge, and this card was the only one that I didn't use Taylor's stamps. I don't like it anyway -- too many layers. So here is my new card for Anna's sketch.

The Cutie Pie DP has a sheet with all these flowers, so I thought I could cut them out and use them for my card. I stamped the little guy from Taylor's Love is Sweet set, but this time I masked the heart, and put a flower. Do you like that idea?

Stamps: Love is Sweet Paper: So Saffron, Rose Red, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Cutie Pie DP Inks: Rose Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Blush Blossom, Going Grey Black Staz On Extras: RR brads, Sharpie marker, dimensionals

This is #9 in of Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. Whew I am all done -- YIPPEE!! This sketch was designed by Monika. I do not have the circle nestabilites, so this one was a toughie too. I am definitely running low on Mojo after all these challenge cards.

I used my Coluzzle kit and cut out the fourth largest circle. Then I slipped the slit punch through the hole and punched the scalloped edge. I used the Bali Breeze DP on the inside layer. The stamp is from Taylor's Love is Sweet stamp set. I colored him in with markers and then popped him up with dimensionals.

Stamps: Love is sweet, Crazy for Cupcakes
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Bali Breeze DP
Inks: Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise, Blush Blossom, Staz On Black
Extras: Turquoise grosgrain ribbon, Coluzzle kit, Slit, Scallop, and 1-1/2" circle punches, dimensionals

This is #8 in of Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. This sketch was designed by Sherrie. I had a tough time with this one. I think I am running out of mojo -- oh no -- I have another card to make.

I used Taylor's stamps again. This is the May stamp from A Year of Sweets 2. Aren't these the cutest cupcakes? You really need to hope over to her store and buy some!!

Stamps: A Year of Sweets 2
Paper: Ruby Red, Whisper White, Ginger Blossom DP
Inks: Staz On Black, Ruby Red, Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral, Blush Blossom
Extras: Marvy Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Guava Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge Daubers

I am in the home stretch -- this is #7 of Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. This sketch was designed by Stephanie. I am really sorry about the quality of this picture, it looks terrible. I think the River Rock DP has a tendency to through the colors off for the camera.

For this card, I used the little cupid from Taylor's Love Is Sweet stamp set and Ginger Blossom DP. I cut the little cupid out and popped him up on dimensionals. Isn't he cute?

Stamps: Love is Sweet
Paper: River Rock, Groovy Guava, Ginger Blossom DP
Inks: River Rock, Ruby Red, Staz On Black, Peach Sharpie
Extras: Guava grosgrain ribbon, Scallop & 1-1/2" circle punches, dimensionals

Here is #6, whew am I tired only 3 more. This is for Jami's Sketch. If you have been following my site lately you know this is for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. I really didn't think that I was going to be able to do all of these, but I feel like there is a possibility I might actually finish them by Thursday.

Stamps: A Year of Sweets 3
Paper: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Dashing DP
Inks: Black Staz On, River Rock
Extras: Sharpie Markers, Marvy Punches, sponge dauber, dimensionals, Red grosgrain ribbon

This is number 5, I am more than half way there -- YIPPEE. I know I don't need to say this, but this is for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. This sketch was designed by Jackie.

I wanted to use one of Taylor's Calendar stamps for this sketch. First I thought of using the May one, but then I remembered this calendar page from Jen. I wanted to do August or rather the beach scene. One of my very best friends is having a birthday soon, and she loves the beach so this card will be perfect for her.

Stamps: A Year of Sweets 2
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Bali Breeze DP
Inks: Black Staz On, Rose Red, Creamy Caramel, Soft Sky
Extras: Sponge Daubers, Coluzzle Circle Kit, Pumpkin grosgrain ribbon, 1/4" & 1/2" circle, and Small & Large Oval punches, tool kit, dimensionals, Mermaid Stickles, EE Brads

Here is my fourth card for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. 4 down only 5 more to go -- whew. I don't think I will make the January 29th deadline, but I intend to try to create something from every sketch. This sketch was designed by Donna.

This image is from the A Year of Sweets 1 stamp set, it is the February Month. I colored and paper-pieced these cutie pies. The DP is from Basic Grey, it is called two scoops. The Cameo Coral card stock looked to bright next to the DP, so I sponged around the edges with river rock.

Stamps: A Year of Sweets 1
Paper: Barely Banana, Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Two Scoops DP
Inks: Staz On Black, Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, River Rock
Extras: Sharpie Markers, Apricot Grosgrain ribbon, Word Window and Small Oval punches, sponge daubers, Coral Rose Sheer ribbon (JoAnne's Essentials), dimensionals.

Here is my third card for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. This sketch was designed by Vicki. This stamp is from the A Year of Sweets 1, it is the January stamp.

This little guy is so cute. I didn't color in his face, but I think it looks OK white, do you? I paper-pieced his "clothes" and the snow with Tea Party DP. I know there are flowers on this DP, but I thought the colors looked like they could pass for January. I used Mermaid Glitz Stickles on this card, although I might have over done it.

Stamps: A Year of Sweets 1
Paper: Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Tea Party DP
Inks: Staz On Black
Extras: Stickles, Scalloped Edge and Word Window punch, Silver Brads, Wasabi stitched ribbon, dimensionals, Clear Rhinestones

Here is my second card for Taylor's Year of Cup Cake Challenges. This sketch is the one that Ana designed. I have pulled out all of my cup cake stamps, and I notice that I do not have that many. I need more!! I really want some more from Taylor, but I do not think they will arrive in time. DH needs some model paint for a car that he is creating so I volunteered to pick some up for him. So off to Michael's and AC Moore I go.

I wanted to use Cutie Pie DP for some of the cards. I think it goes nicely with cup cakes. I used the DP to layer the cupcake and the entire card -- Boy does this card have layers, 17 including the inside. It's a good thing I am not mailing this card it would cost a fortune.

Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes, Circle of Friendship
Paper: Bashful Blue, Rose Red, Whisper White, Cutie Pie DP
Inks: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red
Extras: SS brads, 1/4", 1/2", 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4", and 1-3/8" circle punches, Bashful Blue grosgrain, dimensionals

This is the first card that I have created for Taylor's Celebration of a Year of Cupcake Challenges. This sketch is Taylor's. There are 7 other ladies that created sketches too. I hope to at least try them all, but who knows if I will have time.

I used the clear cupcake stamp set that Taylor designed for Stampendous, it's called Hey There Cupcake. I stamped the back cupcakes directly on the card stock (and colored them in), but the front one I stamped on a scratch piece of CS and then popped it up on dimensionals. I stamped all of the icing on DP and then glued it on the cupcake. This stamp set is so versatile, each piece of the cupcake is a different stamp -- the possibilities are endless.

Stamps: Hey There Cupcake
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Bella Rose DP
Inks: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Extras: Nestabilities, Build-A-Brad, Riding Hood Striped Grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals, White Gel Pen, Scalloped Edge Punch
