SAB DP again

This is a card that I created a while ago for a Real Estate Agent that I know. It uses the SAB designer paper, and I think a SCS sketch. I just thought I would share this while I am gone.

SC274

I was having a difficult time with this sketch (no puffy flowers for this one -- *wink* *wink*). I couldn't think of a stamp set to use that wasn't flowers, and I am not in a flower mood today. Then I remembered that today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration, so I turned to my handy dandy Welcome Neighbor DP. When I first saw this DP I wasn't that impressed, but I think I have used almost the entire pad -- I guess I'm impressed now.

SC264

Well it's official, I am SICK. Boy my brain is all muddled, so if I am not making sense you know why.

Here is my card for the sketch challenge at SCS this week. I had a different card all planned out, but the sketch in my mind was not the posted sketch. I guess my brain is just not working today.

There is no stamping on my card, it's all DP. I am loving this Welcome Neighbor DP. By the end of SAB I will probably have used up my entire pad -- which I have never done before.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by,
Corie

Mojo 119 -- I think

Remember this card? -- I messed up the Mojo challenge. OK -- I think this one qualifies for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, but I am not sure. I moved the circle up a little, and I think it was supposed to be a little bigger. I can't seem to get this one right. I need to get back in the habit of doing the sketch challenges.

I didn't stamp very much on this card. The only thing I stamped was the sentiment. This is the new SAB double sided designer paper (that is available January 5th). Isn't it pretty!! It comes in a 6" x 6" pad of DP, (don't ya love that size?) This is one sheet -- one side is the clouds and one side is the homes.

Stamps: Circle of Friendship . Paper: Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Whisper White, Welcome Neighbor DP . Inks: Bermuda Bay . Extras: 1/2", 1", 1-1/8", 1-3/8", 1-1/2", and Scalloped circle punches, dimesionals, Bermuda Polka Dot ribbon.

Old One

This is a card I made during Sale-A-Bration. I guess I forgot to upload it for you all to see.

I stamped the butterfly on watercolor paper with black Staz on ink. I colored in the butterflies with markers, and then blended them with my aqua painter. I know I went crazy with the punches, but I just love the shapes that every one has been creating.

Stamps: Merci, Embrace Life
Paper: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Very Vanilla, Water Color
Inks: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Black Staz On
Extras: Wide Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Ice Brads, dimensionals, 5 Petal, Snowburst, Word Window, Large Oval, Boho punches.

SAB Thanks

This card is one I created with the SAB set So Many Scallops. I have seen so many ladies do these scallops as flowers, so I am sure I CASEd this from someone. This one uses the stem from Garden Whimsy. I masked the tulip and stamped the stem with celery.

Stamps: Garden Whimsy, So Many Scallops
Inks: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Rose Red
Paper: So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Whisper White, and Cutie Pie DP
Extras: Pop dots, scallop circle punch
