Another Criss Cross Card

This is the card and nugget box that I made for the girls in Brandon's class. I used the petals and paisley designer paper for these (retired).

Thursday, February 14

I have made soooo many criss cross cards lately. I sent 45 of them out to some of my blog buddies, I still have 14 more to mail out. Then I made 27 for Brandon to hand out for Valentine's Day. Then I made several for my ladies to give to their children. So my little one says my name should be Criss Cross Corie -- too funny.

These are the cards and nugget boxes that I made for the boys in his class. The designer paper is Dashing -- one of the retired holiday papers.

Just One More

I am doing a WOW class tomorrow evening for my Ladies. Take a wild guess what we will be creating? Yep, criss cross cards. Do you think I have given them enough inspiration?

We will be creating a Mini and a Regular sized Criss Cross card. We will also be creating nugget boxes to go along with the mini card. This is the regular sized card. I know that I am using retired papers, but I think they will be able to use these cards as their demo.

Stamps: Circle of Friendship . Inks: Old Olive . Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, So Saffron, Whisper White, Petals & Paisley DP . Extras: Sticky Tape, Punches (Tab, Corner Rounder, ½”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1-3/8”, & Scallop circles)

The Big Version

This is the regular sized version of my mini valentine's card. I used the same items, it is just regular sized.

I know you all are probably sick of seeing these, but I think I only have 1 more criss cross card to show you.

And it Goes On

Yep, here is another criss cross card. When you create these cards you end up with left over triangles. I usually use the leftover card stock to punch out my scalloped circles. For this card I used a leftover pumpkin triangle for one of the flaps.

I hope you all have enough inspiration to create your own criss cross card, if you have not already. Feel free to copy any of the cards I have shown you.

Stamps: True Friend . Inks: Wild Wasabi . Paper: Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Hostess DP . Extras: tab, corner rounder, scallop 1", & 1-1/4" circle punches, Bayou stiched gosgrain ribbon

Yep another one.

Here is another Criss Cross Card. I know you all are sick of these, but I have created so many. I used the Hostess Scappin' Kit from the Fall & Winter Collection.

I am busy this weekend taking all the Holiday decorations down. My back is killing me, and I am only half done. OH well -- back to packing.

Creature of Habit

Well I am a creature of habit. So guess what card I have for you today? Yep another criss cross. This one is using the retired pool party paper. I even used Garden Green with it. I do not know about all of you, but Garden Green is such a difficult color for me.

Retirement Card

This week one of the men that I work with retired. I am so happy for him, but I am sad to see him go. He was one of the BEST!!

Well this is the card that I made for him. (Can you tell that I am on a Criss Cross Card kick?) I think that the Outlaw DP is such a wonderful masculine choice.

Stamps: none .Inks: none . Paper: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Very Vanilla, Outlaw DP . Extras: Corner Rounder, Tab, 1", 1 1/4", and Scallop circle punches

Gift Certificate inside

Several ladies have asked about the inside of my Criss Cross Gift Certificate card. Here is a picture. I created this with MS Word, I just picked the olive and read colors to coordinate with the card. The tab is always artichoke, and it looks good in real life, but horrible in the picture.

Gift Certificates

I made these gift certificates for Christmas presents this year. I used Beate's idea for the criss cross card, and then printed the inside with the gift certificate info. I will definitely be making more of these. Do you like them?

Happy New Year

Happy New Year. I want to wish all of you a FANTASTIC New year. I hope this is your best year yet!!!

I created this little card for Brandon to give to his classmates for Valentine's day. I used Beate's idea for a criss cross card, but I made it small. It measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", isn't it the cutest thing? The little box next to the card is a nugget box.
I know it is just January 1, but Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
Stamps: Circle of Friendship Inks: Perfect Plum Paper: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Slumber Party DP (retired) Extras: Sticky Strip, Corner Rounder, Tab, 1/2", 1", and 1 1/4" circle punches. Pretty in Pink ribbon
