MOJO120

This is my card for the MOJO Monday sketch challenge this week. Remember last week when I goofed up the challenge, well I used the same papers this week as I did on last week's card (that you can see here). I had a tough time with the ribbon. That notched out layer just wouldn't work.

To create the hearts, I used VersaMark to stamp the Bella Toile background stamp on whisper white card stock. Then I embossed it with black embossing powder. I punched the two hearts out with my Full Heart punch, and then I sponged them with Rose Red ink. The black layer is embossed with the heart block folder -- can you see that?

Stamps: Bella Toile
Paper: Rose Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, Baja Breeze DP
Inks: Rose Red, VersaMark
Extras: Heart border and Full Heart punches, Nesties, Cuttle bug, Heart Block embossing folder, white brads, white taffeta ribbon, dimensionals, sponges.

Beautiful, Corie! I tried to get this sketch to come together yesterday, and I just couldn't do it. I love that you kept the color scheme simple, yet but using the Cuttlebug and stamps make it spectacular. was trying to force too many different papers. Less is definitely more in this case :)
