I need a birthday card for a boy, so I decided to get out my Walk About Wally Stamp from High Hopes. I love this little guy. I colored him in with my Prisma Markers.
I think I need to purchase some Copic markers too. I am not satisfied with the flesh tone that I achieve from the Prisma markers. Does anyone have any recommendations on which markers to purchase for coloring "skin"?
Anyway I colored my little guy in, and then I remembered that I found a new challenge site earlier this week. It's called the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I cut my DP on a diagonal so I think this qualifies for the Sketch challenge (SC261) on SCS too.

Paper: Kraft, Old Olive, White (PT), Hannah DP (K-OLOGY) .
Inks: Old Olive, River Rock, Tuxedo Black (Memento) .

Corie,
Perfect card and image for a boy, he will like it. I also use Primsa markers and have the same issues with skin tones, so I DO know what you mean for the paler tones but a darker skin tone works well for me. AND Welcome and thanks for playing with us that Midnight Madness.

Super Corie...love the sponging here! I use Egg Shell lots and Skin as well as Baby Skin (I think those are all the right names). If you do a Google search, there are some tuts and recommended color mixes for skin tones.
What a cutie pie he is! I love how you colored him! The colors are great and the dp is fabulous! I'm so glad you played along on the MMSC! Come back again soon... it's always fun!

Wonderful, Corie! He is so cute...I did not even notice the skin tone until you mentioned it. The LO, colors, design, and image flow so wonderfully.
