Another one for SC169

Here is another one for the sketch challenge last week. I purchased this set with my pre-order, and it has not seen ink yet. I am planning on using this set for my April class. So be prepared, I will probably be creating quite a few cards with this set.

This set is affordable, and has matching Designer Series Paper -- what more could a girl ask for? I cannot wait to try the scratch and sniff technique.

I have a question for you all. How often do you wash your stampin' scrub pads? I can never seem to get my really clean. I use dish washing soap and warm water. Should I be using something else? When I clean my stamps -- I spray my mist on the "wet" side and scrub my stamp. Then I scrub my stamp on the dry side. If I stamp the image on my grid paper, it has a discoloration. What am I doing wrong?

Stamps: Tart and Tangy, Sentiment (Papertrey ink)
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, and Summer Picnic DP
Inks: Pumpkin Pie (ink and marker)
Extras: Mat Pack, white gel pen, dimensionals, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" circle punches.

love this card Corie. The colours are just perfect with the dsp!! As to the scrub pads, I wash mine the same way every second or third time stamping ... I have not had a problem with getting them clean!

Love the card! I clean mine every 2nd time that I stamp, once in awhile every 3rd time. I take the pads out one side at a time (or I will mix them up)run it under warm water first to get most of the ink then soap it up scrub it with my hand, run it under warm water again to rinse then towel dry a bit, put it back in pad & leave it open to dry. That's my routine.

Totally cute card! Another great color combo and I love the doodles on the main image.

As for the stampin' scrub I wash it under water when it seems like it needs it. If there is a lot of build up I remove the pads and run them through the top shelf of my dishwasher. It warps them a bit but they still go back into the holder just fine.

So cute - love the slices! I'll clean my s&s with damp paper towels - keep rubbing until the paper towel doesn't have any color on it and your stamps won't either! If it gets really bad, I'll take them out and run them through the dishwasher on top rack wedged really good between glasses.

WOW Love this color combo!! I don't know that I would have ever thought to use these colors together but they REALLY pop!!

Once in a while I use the stampin' scrub pad but if you really want to know (Now don't fall over!--lol!!)I have been cleaning my stamps for years with a soft bristle toothbrush and some water. I works great and gets into all the detailed areas on a stamp. If I am using pigment/craft ink then a add a little stamp cleaner. Lay on a towel to dry.

Smiles!
Heidi

Hi Corie,
I love your blog, so much information in it, I learn a lot.
I clean my stamps with a container of Baby Wipes you pull out of a can type with-out alcohol. They look as good as new. Try it it is simple and clean to use.
Hope you like it.
