Note Card Folder

Here is one of the cards and a project that we will be doing at Janet's workshop this Sunday. I have seen several SU ladies do folders, this is my take. I do not seem to use very vanilla card stock or ribbon very often, so I thought this would be the perfect time. I needed to make it easy enough for beginners and difficult enough for the seasoned stampers. Any suggestions would definitely be welcome!!!

The ribbon is fed through the folder to hold the cards and/or envelopes in. You could do this folder with only 2 holes, but I thought this was a nice touch.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs Inks: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Rose Red Paper: Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla Extras: Vanilla ribbon, Corner rounder and 1/8" HH circle punches

Very sweet, Corie. Not sure if I can come up with a suggestion for the seasoned stamper. I am sure all will love this project.
Maybe pop up one flower on the portfolio cover and add a half pearl thingy (technical term) for the center of the flower? Or a small glue dot in the center of one flower, then dip in microbeads for a little pop?

Corie...I LOVE this "take" on the folder...and you used one of my favorite sets from the new catty!...I would keep it simple for "newbies"...but maybe take it "up a notch" for the seasoned stampers with extras like June mentioned...they seem to always like to do their own thing anyway!...PS....can you email measurements to me, please????

What an awesome beautiful project! I LOVE it! How big is it IRL? How many cards would you be able to fit in it? I'm just thinking as a gift for my MIL. I think both beginners and seasoned stampers will love it!

This is elegant and beautiful Corie. My only suggestion is to perhaps add some glitter with the 2 way glue pen. This jazzes it up without being too difficult. You would probably sell a lot of glitter and glue pens too!

This is a great project! I really like your take on the ribbon...I will definately be casing it. The stamp group I am part of also has a mixture of stampers...three of us have been at it for a while and the others are usually newbies...Our demonstrator Kay does a good job with finding projects for us. Last stamp camp we did a wiper card and that was enjoyed by all. She usually does on straight forward project and one that is a little more involved...it works for us!

Corie this is so pretty & I really like how you did the ribbon!! Very clever!! I will have to remember this for sure!! I did a project with our youth group a few months ago to raise money for a mission trip & we made 400 packs of cards & 80 packs of stationary but the stationary kept sliding around & some of it slipping out. This looks like it would hold everything in place very nicely.
