Sail away -- again

Here is another card that I created with the Winds of Grace stamp set. I am trying to do Guy cards, they seem to be the most difficult --for me at least.

I water colored the image and then sponged around it with So Saffron -- to "age" it. You can see the leaves in the background better on this picture. These are the leaves from the Country Blessings stamp set. I inked the leaf with More Mustard, then accented the center and edges with chocolate chip. I also frayed the edges of the twill tape -- to distress the card even more.

Stamps: Winds of Grace, Country Blessings, PaperTrey Inks: Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Sahara Sandy, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Timber Brown Staz on Paper: Confetti Cream, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Extras: Twill Tape, Hodge Podge Hardware, Distressing Tool, Dimensionals, paint brush, sponge

Guy cards are difficult for me too, but Corie, you make it look easy! Your anniversary card and this one too are wonderful. You are an inspiration!

Hi Corie
Hope you don't mind but I like this card so much I went and bought a boat stamp yesterday at the Papercraft Fair we were at in Harrogate. I think this is a great card for men and I always struggle with those.

The boat stamp I bought is a different one to yours but if you see some boat cards appearing on my blog in the near future then you can take the credit as you (and this card) are the inspiration behind them! :-)
