BLOG Candy

Well I hit 6000 today, so it is time for candy again. I am giving away the stippled stencils stamp set, and the teal velvet ribbon from the spring catalog. I would have a picture for you if my batteries were not dead. Boy, today has been the day from you know what.

On a previous candy post I had you leave a comment telling me what you were thankful for. I loved reading all the comments so I want you to do that again. Days like today I need to remind myself that I am a very blessed person, and I really have NOTHING to complain about.

So I will go first. I am thankful that I have a job, so it enables me to do other things. I am thankful for my family, warts and all. I am thankful that I still have my old man (my 15 1/2 year old Lab -- not hubby), and that his quality of life is still good. I am thankful for the other dog --Jake-- well maybe not thankful, but the boys love him so much. I am thankful that I have all my new BLOG friends, you all are so great.

That is all for now. I will have the boys draw a name on Saturday night. Good luck everyone.

I am thankful to be alive! After surviving a bad car accident, I realized how precious life truly is. Nothing is to be taken for granted, enjoy every waking moment. Trust me I never fully understood it when a person says that their life flashed before them. I experienced it and it is kind of scary especially when I reflect on it.

I'm thankful for everything I take for granted....which is a million+ things! I'm thankful for all that I have experienced....whether it was good, bad, happy or sad.....because with each incident and encounter is a blessing. Although at times it may not feel like one in that instance, I know that each experience has made me who I am today. Cheers & smiles to you!

Hi Corie! I just found your blog(thanks to Melissa at Simply Pink) and am happy to say it is great!

Like you, I have many things to be thankful for. Mostly, I am thankful that I have a loving Father who watches over my family and me and who loves me when I am not the most loveable. I am also thankful for summer weather - even when it is sooooo hot I think I will die - because I know I will be missing it soon. I am also thankful that I have a job (with summers off - I teach- so I can play with my hobbies) and a husband who doesn't mind that I spend some of that money to keep playing!

I hope you are feeling better!

Nancy Clark

BTW: I am going to try to sign up for the e-mail notification.
