Sympathy

Unfortunately I need 2 sympathy cards, so hear is the first one. This one is for Rick's nephew, his father passed away earlier this week. I wanted to use the flowers from the Morning Soft stamp set, but I also wanted it to be appropriate for a guy. The Color Challenge this week was River Rock and Black, so I figured these were perfect colors for a sympathy card.

I stamped the morning glory stamp in basic black, and then stamped over it with En Fancais using River Rock ink. I think on the next one, I will emboss the black ink. This one looks better IRL.

Stamps: Morning Soft, Embrace Life, En Francais
Inks: Basic Black, River Rock
Paper: Whisper White, River Rock, Basic Black, Brocade DP
Extras: Sponges, dimensionals

Corie,
It's always a bit of a challenge to do a sympathy card, let alone a guy one. But you have done a superb job with this.
