I have a problem remembering when my anniversary is. --go figure--. See Rick and I were married 13 years ago, on September 17. Well my oops is the same every year. See I always think that our anniversary is September 15. So once again I woke up this morning and wished my husband a Happy Anniversary. Today is not my anniversary, Monday is. I guess it is better to be early than late. BTW -- he laughs at me every year.
Several of you have asked me to post a picture of myself. So because of my anniversary, I am going to try and scan our wedding picture this weekend to post for you all.
In honor of my anniversary and having over 15k hits on my little site I am offering CANDY. This time you will receive the Fun Filled Stamp Set (retired SU!), flower brads, Bold Brights pieces (retired SU!), flower rhinestones, and one of my Holiday SWAP card (hope you do not mind, but it is one of my rejects) -- I forgot to add that I have an Amuse set of stamps too -- the Animal Wishes one. It is not in the picture, but it will be in your bag of goodies.
What do you need to do to qualify for candy? Just leave me a comment. You will receive an extra chance if you subscribe to my site (yes those of you that have already subscribed will receive the extra chance). You will receive an additional chance if you leave me a comment telling me a tip that I could use to improve my site or card making abilities.

I am already subcribed to your blog. Since I just started out in the card making world no tips there pluss your cards are really great. I always like to read a little about the person writing the blog; who they are, what they do and what inspires them:) Not really a tip though.
I was brousing your blog and noticed what lovely cards you have. Here's a little tip someone shared with me the other day... Just because you think a card is a reject doesn't mean it is..the person receiving it won't see it through your eyes and will probably figure it's beautiful.
This one has helped me since I'm so picky that I have lots of "OOOPS" cards that didn't turn out the way I wanted to, But you know what...Nobody but me sees.
And by the way, I'd be glad to get one of your rejects any day, the ones that you've shared are lovely!!

I'd love to give you some constructive critism but I've been looking at your cards until I'm blue in the face trying to think of some suggestion I could give to improve just one of them in some way and I just can't come up with anything - your cards are fantastic just the way they are!
Congrats on the hits & happy anniversary! You have to remember, that we are our own worst critic! What you don't like on a card may be just the element someone else is looking for! So be kind to yourself and keep up the great work. I am a subscriber and I wouldn't miss it.

I have a spent a bunch of time looking at all of your cards and I am still trying to think of something you can improve on. I don't know that I have any sort of place to tell someone who does such wonderful work (much better than myself) what to improve on. I could say something of person interest to me. I like funky or more retro cards. One I love is your "Reject #1". I could look at cards like that all day. I don't tend to personally like stamps like in "Reject #2" for instance. But that is just my taste. I would say make them all funky! That's my 2 cents. :)

Wow! Great candy. You reminded me of my parents because they have always celebrated 2 anniversaries. They eloped three months before their wedding because they thought my Dad was going to be called away by the Air Force. He didn't... and my grandfather went to his grave without ever knowing my mom took the plunge before their extravagant wedding! LOL!

Happy Anniversary. I have almost the same thing happen every year to me except it's backwards. Everyone thinks my birthday is 08/13 but it's really the 12th. So people don't wish me happy birthday and I feel neglected. Then the next day I laugh at them all as they wish my happy birthday. Oh well.

Anniversary tale: It was our turn to host our annual New Years Eve party for about 20 people...I was so busy preparing for the party (and taking care of three little ones and the usual daily routine) that I completely forgot our anniversary (which happened to be NYE).

The funny part is we married on my parent's wedding anniversary as a way to keep them close as they have both passed over. I could never get their Anniversary right either!

Oh don't we all make mistakes. If I'm not reminded a day or week before one of my friends birthdays I'd forget. :$ That is why I have a calender with their birthday written on it and cross out each day as it goes by.
