Anniversary CASE

Today is Admin Asst Day, so I gave my new assistants cards. I kinda hide that fact that I do cards from people at work. I am so critical of my own work, and I am always afraid that people will not like my creations. Well to make a long story short, my new boss saw my cards so she asked me to make her 2 anniversary cards -- the catch is that she needs them tonight. Can you say YIKES.

So I CASEd this card from Laura. I thought this would be a nice elegant card for an anniversary. I had to emboss the image twice to get it to look nice. I used black craft ink the first time, and then colored the image with my VersaMark pen and embossed it again.

Stamps: Baroque BG, Hugs and Wishes
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Grey, Basic Black
Inks: Black Craft
Extras: Black Embossing powder, Heat Gun, VersaMark pen, Pomegranate Satin and Grey Taffeta Ribbon, dimensionals, Vintage Brads, Mat Pack, Paper Piercer

I love your card! So bold. Different from your normal style- I like that.

I used to hide the fact that I made cards at work- same reason as you. I made a co-worker a birthday card one time and she posted it right in the center of her cubicle wall! Before long everybody knew I made cards.
