Beate's Sketch Challenge

This is for Beate's Sketch Challenge for this weekend. I am not crazy about this one, but I have done 3 others and hated them. So here it is.

I did not use designer paper, I embossed bravo burgundy craft ink on the navy pieces. I do not think you can see it in the picture, but that part looks good. Using the craft inks, and embossing with clear powder really gives the card texture.
Don't forget about the Blog Candy.

Stamps: Baroque Motiffs, Sentiment (summer 06 mini) Inks: Cool Carribbean, Buckaroo Blue, Cranberry Crisp, Night of Navy, Bravo Burgundy (craft) Paper: Buckaroo Blue, Cranberry Crisp, Night of Navy, Whisper White Extras: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Silver brads, Ticket Corner punch, Dimensionals

I really like this card! Baroque Motifs is on my wish list. I love the dimension you gave the card on the front, your tri-fold card idea is awesome, and the stamping on the inside is perfect! Another great card.

I like this card, especially the color scheme. I can see the embossing around the edges; I like to use the clear embossing powder, too. I also like the way this card folds. thanks for the inspiration.

I love what you've done on the corners of the inside of this card! Pulls the cranberry color in and directs the eye toward the sentiment. Such an unintuitive use of a potion of that image, too. Very neat!
